A Beautiful Bomb

I know the moment our eyes connect
Would be a lovely, electric effect
Like some spiritual sparkler
Let it leave, on me, the mark of her
And should, somehow, our fingers entwine
On her, there'd be, the mark of mine
Should my lips meet her lips
Same reaction of a thousand atoms split
Together - Dangerous - But
Dear
God
What a Beautiful Bomb
We were sent to set the sky ablaze
Create a real life, perfect, purple haze
Not destruction, opposite, a cleansing
An epoch event, ending this Holocene
A Mercury melting fire
Bodies boiling over with desire
With it- a world refreshing
A systematic soul resetting
A Brand New Earth
Love's Rebirth

I think this is my favorite so far. Purple...there's a lot of energy and meaning in that color. You use it very well.
