thirteen minutes to write something
cut widen and deepening
universe open in the middle
each second expanding just a little
what was this big bang all about
all of this, just, "falling out"?
you know that painting on the ceiling?
two fingers touch, you know that feeling?
well i remember it in the corner of your smile
since then cycling some type of time trial
further away, mile by mile
had it been a lifetime or just awhile?
either way, from that spark, the universe burst
my eyes catching your flicker came first
the galaxy did shrink and "time" was slow
there was rhythm in the river's flow
but then the explosion's blast
placed me in the future and that moment in the past
and here we are in the expansion
wearing time in our eyes like we're old fashioned
if we get further away are we getting closer on the other side?
does the universe go 'roud like a clock ticking time?
is it a sphere, is it waves, is it a line?
is it God's mind?
yours or mine?
