Wonder Like Radio Waves

I didn't know
If she could hear the show
On the late night radio
Dark room lit with the console's glow
I wondered if she was listening
If she was considering
Looking back at history
And missing me
Not me
My being
That which is not my body
The music, not the disc jockey
Not the musician
Or instrument
Guitar pic
Or other implement
The notes in the air
That strip your soul bare
A vibration's love affair
The original prayer
Did my notes meet her voice
Make her sing and rejoice
Seemingly without choice
Or was my song ...
Just noise
My wonder wanders through the air tonight
Above her
Between thunder
And lighting strikes
Do they* make their way inside
Does she hold them in her mind
Keep it like a secret - hide
Somewhere for only her to find
Yes,
My wonder
Wanders through the
Air tonight
Above her
Between thunder
And
Lighting strikes
(and hope they meet her in the morning light)
*My wonder- thoughts - and such

This is beautiful.
