Wrapped In Weather's Wrinkles

On this shore it sprinkles
Yet, sunny on the other side
We’re wrapped in weather’s wrinkles
Forever, if I didn’t know any otherwise
Some days are filled with stillness
As careless as the bird flies
Some are sore with illness
The puppy along with the dog days die
I sit on this hill willingly
Victim of the forecast
I’ve seen myself as a million beings
Although only this version lasts
When this next system rolls in
Carries its clouds across the bay
Which precipitation is held within
Rain, snow, I do not know,
Just that the clouds are gray
The future will be full of progress and remission
There’s only one way to ensure that love will stay
Find it inside and then just listen
To all the lesson the past has to say
Then meet destiny with optimistic persistence
Worry not about another's shore
A new leaf is sometimes spring or autumn's brilliance
The outcome of the storm is purely yours
